Meet the Team: Keiko Keegan

“I love people!” exclaims Keiko Keegan, one of the newest additions to the Benson Executive Search team. For a fitness and outdoors lover who keeps a busy schedule both in and out of the office, it’s easy to see why. Keiko came to us through our own Lucy Jreige, who met Keiko at a neighborhood gathering and soon realized Keiko’s desire to help others succeed would be a perfect match for the HR placement work at BES.

“Lucy was telling me all about her job and how much she loved the team and culture of the company, it sounded like a great next step.” The timing was right for Keiko. “I told her how I want to be part of a supportive team with a great work culture, and I’m so excited to be here.”

Keiko assists with a wide range of clients and candidates in her supportive role at BES.  She listens carefully to everyone’s story and brings an infectious positive energy to every step of the process. Her encouraging nature comes naturally. She owned a gym for 14 years, working with clients as they improved their mental and physical health. “I’m definitely interested in what motivates people and how you can help bring out the best version of themselves. I love working at BES because I can see the [hiring] process through from the beginning to the end. I love to see the back and forth that goes on.”

Keiko has been a great fit, and we’ve loved learning about her adventures with her husband and two children on hiking trails around the Bay State and beyond – a few years ago the Keegan family hiked Mt. Fuji in Japan! “If I can find a 4,000 footer, and we can get it done, we’ll do it,” she says boldly.

While she’s a trailblazer in her own right, it’s the company and wellness of others that keep her most motivated, “I love my family and am so close with them,” she says. “And it’s really such a great group of people [at BES] and just to be part of a team is fantastic”

In terms of a superpower she’d like to have? “I wish I could come up with something like save the world or make people nicer, but honestly I don’t know if I’d want that big responsibility! I guess teleportation, but to teleport and bring someone with me.”

Teleportation is a superpower we can support, as long as she promises to teleport back to us quickly. We need Keiko and we’re thrilled to have her!
